The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a gripping narrative showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers growing in power within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of heroes who will split off from the primary party to begin their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might look out of place, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his selfish purposes, entering the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the region and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as key figures in the powerful family could assist the party enter places they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to head to the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Questers and Strategists groups.

Fans can expect learning which adventurers will be where in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
